100 Days to World Space Week 2015

The largest public event on the planet celebrating space exploration, space science and technology will kick off in exactly 100 days.

In 1999, the United Nations General Assembly declared 4-10 October to be the World Space Week each year. During this week, events are organized across the world to celebrate “the benefits of space and excitement about space exploration”. They can range from a public exhibition to a screening of a space themed movie to a meeting with friends to talk about space. Event organizers are encouraged to incorporate the WSW theme into their events. This year’s theme is ‘Discovery’ that “highlights the great era of deep space discovery that we are in” and serves to inspire people everywhere.

With 100 days to go, it is the perfect time to start planning for WSW 2015. You can either join one of the events this year or organize one yourself. So what are you waiting for? Go DISCOVER!
