Event Name:	Astrium Stevenage and SETPOINT Hertforshire World Space Week Lectures
Event Description:	Astrium Stevenage in association with SETPOINT Hertfordshire will deliver a series of lectures and activities to local schools during world space week 2011. Lecture titles include: Space and You - What has Space technology got to do with me? Mapping the Galaxy - The GAIA mission, What can we see from Space? Exploring the Solar System? How to build a spacecraft, Engineering for the Red Planet, Space structures, The UK Space industry - past, present and future and career opportunities. Astrium ambassadors will give the appropriate lectures to groups of students ranging in age from 9yrs to 18yrs within schools in the vicinity of the Astrium Stevenage site. The lectures were advertised to schools in June 2011 via SETPOINT Hertfordshire who are managing the booking of the talks within the schools.
