Even now, after numerous Mars missions, Mars still has not revealed all its secrets. During this lecture we go in search of the many fascinating mysteries that this planet has to offer. We will also pay attention to Mars exploration, in particular to the ESA ROSCOSMOS ExoMars program that wants to find answers to questions such as: "Is there (or Has there been) life on Mars?", "Where does the newly detected methane come from?", etc. In addition, this mission will also test a number of new technologies that should make it possible to bring samples from Mars to Earth by the years 2020. 21u-22u30: stargazing Location: UGent, Campus Sterre, building S9, Krijgslaan 281, 9000 Ghent.
