| Event Name: | Inter-School Space Week Elocution Competition by NowNext |
| Event Description: | As a part of the World Space Week celebration, we, at NowNext, are organizing an inter-school space elocution competition for students from classes 8 to 12 across Kerala to grow space knowledge, enthusiasm, and presentation skills among them. Registration and participation are completely FREE for all students. As a part of our outreach programmes to empower our students through active participation in academic activities, we are happy to announce the “NowNext Space Week Elocution Competition.” Students from classes 8 to 12 can participate in two categories - Junior (class 8 to 10) and Senior (class 11 & 12). Topics will be: Junior: “My Favourite Woman in Space” (എൻ്റെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട ബഹിരാകാശ യാത്രിക) Senior: “Challenges Faced by Women in Space Travel” (ബഹിരാകാശ യാത്രയിൽ സ്ത്രീകൾ നേരിടുന്ന പ്രതിസന്ധികൾ) What Students Get: Participation certificates for all students Winners will be rewarded with exciting prizes including valuable space literature, support for future studies in space exploration, the opportunity to meet with space experts/scientists. Selected students will be featured on the NowNext blog, YouTube channel, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other social media handles. Free career guidance for winners. Exciting goodies. Following are the rules and guidelines for participating students: Entry is completely FREE for all Students must complete registration before sending their entries. Register Now: https://bit.ly/SpaceElocution Once the registration is completed, participants need to send their video entry to our WhatsApp number: +917356593785 Registration and entry submission must be completed before 8th October 2021, 9 PM. Duplicate entries are not allowed. Any number of students can participate from one school. No school registration is required. The video should not be longer than 4 minutes, otherwise will be considered invalid. Make sure the speech is audible and expressions are visible. The participant’s face must be revealed in the video. The video should be recorded in a stable position and sent without any cuts or edits. Participants can choose either Malayalam or English to do the presentation. Students are only allowed to do the speech on the given topics for the respected categories. Junior: “My Favourite Woman in Space” (എൻ്റെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട ബഹിരാകാശ യാത്രിക) Senior: “Challenges Faced by Women in Space Travel” (ബഹിരാകാശ യാത്രയിൽ സ്ത്രീകൾ നേരിടുന്ന പ്രതിസന്ധികൾ) Entries will be assessed based on presentation skills, language fluency, pronunciation, content, and expressions. The second round of the contest will be conducted via Zoom Meeting with live elocution before a panel of experts.
