| Event Description: | OsimoLab joins the WSW with an online meeting with Prof. Amedeo Balbi, Associate Professor of Astronomy and Astrophysics, Tor Vergata University of Rome. Balbi is the winner of the 6th edition of the Asimov Prize (with the book "The last horizon. What do we know about the universe"), a National recognition dedicated to his scientific works for bringing the scientific culture closer to the younger generation, through the evaluation and critical reading of the works in competition. The Event is organized by OsimoLab (which has joined the WSW since 2019) with the patronage of the Municipality of Osimo, INFN Gran Sasso National Laboratories, Occhialini Foundation, Camerino University, and will be broadcast by the Weturtle platform, a community of teachers and educators on STEM subjects. On the occasion, the five books referring to the Asimov 2023 Prize will be presented to the general public by Dr. Francesco Vissani, the father of the Asimov Prize. |
