| Report on the Results: | The development of the asteroid mining industry was presented during the short lecture in the star hall of the Naval Planetarium. Students were trained to search for asteroids on astronomical images. The asteroid search program International Astronomical Search Collaboration was introduced Students learned to work with the professional asteroid detection software Astrometrica. They processed the first astronomical images in an observational campaign of International Asteroid Search Campaign. In the astronomical images, the girls discovered a new asteroid and determined its equatorial coordinates. |
