| Event Description: | At the event, which will take place at GUHEM, students will explore the exhibition areas with interactive devices on space and astronomy themes; after listening to presentations on the Solar System, International Space Station, Artificial Satellites, Mars Research, they will participate in the astrobiology workshop and experience the multi-axis simulator, which is also used in astronaut training. Afterwards, there will be an seminar with US astronaut Dorothy Marie "Dottie" Metcalf-Lindenburger and students will have the opportunity to ask questions to the astronaut herself. |

| Report on the Results: | The students first visited the Astronomy and Space Technologies exhibition areas at GUHEM and explored the interactive experimental setups. They also listened to presentations by GUHEM Science Communicators on the International Space Station, Solar System, Mars Exploration, Artificial Satellites. In the Astrobiology workshop held in the Chemistry-Biology Laboratory, they examined tardigrades with a light microscope. They experienced the Multi-axis Simulator in the area of space simulators. After all these activities, Astronaut Dorothy Marie "Dottie" Metcalf-Lindenburger gave a presentation to the students in GUHEM conference hall. In the presentation, Astronaut Dottie talked about her space studies and her selection process as an astronaut, and then answered the questions of the students. |
