| Event Name: | Moving Satellite with Design Task Against the Space Debris Problem |
| Event Description: | In this activity, students are given information about space technologies. Information is given about waste, which is one of the problems caused by space technologies. In order to provide a solution to this problem, students are given a design task. The design task is to design a system that can be used for satellites to prevent accidents that may be caused by this problem. This system is a system that detects space debris with a sensor and moves the satellites in a certain axis. The activity is based on Robotics Supported STEM Education Approach. The event is planned to use the Lego WeDo 2.0 robot kit and block-based coding. The event is expected to last six lesson hours. The target audience of the event is secondary school students. This event was held within the scope of the K102 Mobility Project called "STEAM via Robotics", supported within the scope of Erasmus +. |
