| Event Description: | The Conference will be held on the campus of the University of Ahi Evran by the participant of Mr.Sacit Ozdemir Proffessor. Mr.Mehmet Tanrıyar from Erciyes University, and Mr.Hasan Ak will attend as speakers. Turksat A.S. will replay role as main Sponsor for the programme. There will be inaugural speech of Turksat A.S. Director-General. After the model competition assessment, awards will be given. The National and Local Media will be invited. After the programme, the Cacabey Observatory will be wisited.. | Report on the Results: | WSW events in Kirsehir were coordinated by Hasan Surucuoglu and Rasit Umucu. Kirsehir Ahi Evran University supported the events by its participation and participants. Students were provided information to make research about space and space vehicles. Then, they were informed about the models they will make and supplied with the suitable conditions to make the space vehicle models. Students finished designing their models on September 30, 2008. The models were assessed by the authorized jury and the assessed ones were displayed to public. The gifts of Turksat A.S. were given fort he selected models. Before the model competition announcenent, the conference of discovery of universe were took place. The Conference was held in the campus of the University of Ahi Evran. The speakers were Mr.Sacit Ozdemir , Proffessor. Mr.Nihat Arikan from Ahi Evran University. Turksat A.S. was the main sponsor for the programme. An inaugural speech was made by Turksat A.S. Director-General. After the model competition assessment awards were given to the winners. The National and Local Media were invited. After the programme, the Cacabey Observatory was visited.. According to the inscription over the crown gate; the Caca Bey Medresse, which is located in the center of Kırşehir, was built in H. 671 / C.1272-1273 by Kırşehir Governor Nureddin Cibril Bin Cacabey during the period of Anatolia Seljuk Sultan Kılı |
