| Report on the Results: | WSW Manisa activities started under the leadership of teacher Elif Dirik. Seminars were held on Astronomy, planets, their athmosphere fıatures and dark holes. Related presentations were done. In Salihli, one of county borough of Manisa, Aydoğan Erturk coordinated all WSW activities. In Salihli activities, main purpose was to inform students and public on launched spacecrafts for Exploring the Universe. For this purpose, by the technical assistance of Astronomy and Space Department of Ege University, a presentation was realized on Universe and Us.Large attendance was provided. In this presentation, wideness of universe was shown by using visual objects. During three days, sky observation has been done in Salihli and 800 people attent.There was a warm interest to observation activity where Brosser marked telescope was used. It was the second time that the activity was happen in Salihli, however tihs time, attendence was higher than first time. İn addition to this, a museum was wisited in Denizli, nearest city of Manisa, and information about unknown heavenly bodies have been attained. On the other hand, Hazerfen UniverseExploring Spacecraft model and picture contes have been realized all around the country. Assessed ones were displayed. Over 13500 people have visited the display during whole week. Gifts were delivered to all students by Turksat A.S. Activities have taken places in Local and National Media.
