| Report on the Results: | WE ARE ALL HAZERFEN with Turksat AS, Yildirim In cooparation Elementary School organized Exploring Universe Hazerfen Spacecraft Model contest on Oct. 10th as part of WSW 2008 activities. For this occasion, many posters have been used and teachers have been informed . Over 172 students have participated in this contest which has attracted great interest. A composed jury has assessed models. These 40 models have been succesfully displayed to the public as a name of Science Celebration.There were wide attendance to this outdoor display, over 2600 visitors had participated. This successful WSW activity has become news in both - 10.000 tragic Pervasız Newspaper and 8.500 tragic Istasyon Newspaper. Each student has introduced their own work and the Mayor of Aksehir has congratulated all students one by one.. It was good to see students to mind recycling while working. A lot of Turksat AS gifts have been given to students. Also Serap Yuksel has made an openning speech and talked about importance of WSW activities to raise scientists and thanked to National WSW Coordinator of Turksat AS. Having seen the children |
