| Event Description: | Rikon is a 3-day event offering a diverse program suitable for people of all ages and tastes. Our primary goal is to offer an interesting and educational experience to the youth of Rijeka, but also of all of Croatia. Rikon offers a chance to participate in lectures, round table discussions, workshops, shows, presentations, games and quizzes created in such a way as to present complex scientific or social issues in an entertaining and interesting way; present new Croatian genre writings, artists and game developers, as well as use workshops, games and quizzes to promote teamwork, cooperation, learning new information and handcrafting. This year's convention is dedicated to the movie series "Star Wars", whose 7th episode is premiered this December. We will remember all the previous episodes through lectures, games, quizzes and workshops, as well as a special cosplay contest category. The event starts on Friday, October 9th at 18.00, and the program ends at midnight. On Saturday the program starts at 13.00 and ends at 01:00. Sunday is dedicated to program for children and activities start at 11:00 and last until 15:00. Program schedule will soon be published on the event website. Two-day ticket for Friday and Sunday is 60 kn / 8 EUR. Costumed visitors have a discount and their ticket costs 30 kn / 4 EUR. Children under 14 have free entrance on all days of convention, and the Sunday program is entirely free. |
