| Event Description: | This two-day event which was held on 8-9 October, 2-11 p.m. included a public opening ceremony, galleries, stalls and various workshops with the theme of space and discovrey. The event also provided the public with the chance to visit the exhibition in Gonbad Mina and watch 3D space movies as well as other movies on the topic of discovery. |

| Report on the Results: | The event was held successfully. People got familiar with World Space Week and wsw2015 theme i.e. Discovery. List of the programs held on this event is as follows: 1. Opening ceremony of the 'Space Festival': a number of 150 people attended the ceremony, listening to speeches about world space week and wsw2015 theme i.e. Discovery; watching the 3D movie 'TWAN' and receiving a booklet which included information about WSW and Discovery; 2.Visiting the exhibition of Iran's space achievements; 3.Visiting Iran's second bid meteor which was recently found in Lut; 4. several booth with themes of 'How to Observe the Night Using Astronomic Equipment', 'Astronomic Photography' and 'Astronomic Jewelry'; 5. Watching space themed 3D movies; 6. Reading Banners including information about discovery missions of NASA and ESA; 7. Visiting the gallery of children's paintings with the theme of space (paintings from a competition which was held last year); 8. Enjoying Wall Painting with the theme of Discovery; 9.Workshops on the topics of 'Making CubeSat Models', 'Universe Dimensions', 'Satellite Communications', 'Space, Technology and Exploitation', 'Amateur Astronomy', 'Satellite Navigation'and 'Space and the Last Discovery Boundaries'; 10. Kids also received books about space as well as flags with WSW logo |
