| Event Description: | Observe the skies through our 16" telescope during our observatory open house nights! Open houses are offered once a month (weather permitting) during the semester. They start 30 minutes before sunset in the planetarium. We will do a brief tour of the night sky and then escort you to the 3rd floor observatory. Observing will be done through the 16" telescope in the observing dome and through smaller telescopes on the observing deck - be sure to dress for the weather! Oct. 6 (6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.) Bad weather back up date is Oct. 7 |
