| Event Description: | Join us on October 9th, from 6:00pm - 9:00pm for a kid friendly event. The Sassy Astronomer, Parke Kunkle, and The Mars Generation's Astronaut Abby* for Q&A and stargazing. Oct 9th starting at 6pm. Abby will also be giving away space swag! Bent Brewstillery will be donating $1 for every pint sold during this event to Astronaut Abby's STEM 501c3 nonprofit, The Mars Generation. *Abby 'Astronaut Abby' Harrison is a 19 year old aspiring astronaut and hopes to be the first person to Mars. She has been a public STEM advocate since she was 13 years old. In 2015 at age 18 she founded the TheMarsGeneration.org (TMG) with a group of astronauts, engineers and professionals. TMG works to educate and excite kids and adults about STEM and human space exploration. |
