| Event Description: | BEYOND is an ambitious arts project that will invite a mix of artists,curators, scientists and audiences to take advantage of the new astronomical observatory on ACA premises. The project will be launched with a conference in Newcastle on October 5th which will include presentations by artists and scientists to provoke discussion and inspire the programme. Her large-scale sound and visual installation, Négociation 89 - The Horizon of Matter, aims to break through the barrier of the unknown to give the audience an experience of the immensity of Space. The evening will continue with the official opening of the observatory at the OldSchool House in Allenheads.
