Report on the Results:
Zambia celebrated World Space week for the second time following the successes of 2008 with two registered events targeting mostly young people. The first was a school event at Lechwe Trust School where a Copperbelt University Physics lecturer gave an important talk about the International Year of Astronomy (IYA 2009), its goals and objectives, on 2nd October 2009. This school assembly talk attracted about 200 pupils among them many girls and their grade teachers.
