Report on the Results: | Morning Assembly is an important aspect of any school curriculum, and it is essential for every student of the school to attend it. In our school, morning assemblies are spread over three days of a week (that is on Tuesday; Wednesday and Friday) to ensure mass participation from junior to senior class students. It was during the assembly that a special segment was devoted to Astronomy and World Space Week. Niharika & Prachi of class X A shared with the gathering their views on science and its various concepts; theories and ideas. How much of these are a part of science fiction and how close it is โ or not โ to becoming science, that is, proven and supported by concrete evidences. The aim behind their topic was to educate students about how continuous scientific research in the field of Astronomy is diluting the boundaries between the fiction and reality. Through their dedicated research, scientists have widened the scope of possibilities of fictional concepts and bringing them into the realm of reality. |
