| Event Description: | Students would me making models of satellite from trash materials and showcase their creativity. The models made by students will be exhibited for the showcase in the school. |

| Report on the Results: | As a part of World Space Week Celebrations students of Grade 6-8 of the school were asked to make satellite models from trash materials. Many students came up with innovative models of satellites and also the replica of satellites already launched. The purpose of the project was to inculcate the habit of Recycling and Reusing materials. They were asked to explain the different parts of the satellite with their function, the materials used and the use of such satellites. This was done in an attempt to create scientific temper in students. The students presented their models as an exhibition for others to view and understand. This was an initiative by the teachers of the Science department. |
