Event Description:  Educational forum will be organised in some schools and colleges in the Limbe Municipality with discussion focussing on the solar syste, satellites and thir application to climarte chenge from the 7th - 10th October 2009.

Report on the Results:  The world space week programme activities started on Wednesday 07/10/2009 with the distribution of application letters and posters to schools and colleges in the Limbe municipality. An appointment was later booked to give some lectures to the students. Lectures were then given on the theme: Solar System, Satellites and their Application to Climate Change to various colleges beginning with Kofele Luma Memorieal Academy on Thursday 08/10/2009 from 1.00pm to 2.30 pm, next was Government Bilingual High School Limbe and National Comprehensive High School respectively from 7.30 am to 8.15 am and 9.00 am to Interactive question and answer sessions was also carried out after lectures by students and teachers alike. Attendance for the world space week celebration was massive in the schools visited with students being the majority amongst Principals, Proprietors and Teachers. World Space Week fliers provided by the U.N National Coordinator for Cameroon Mr. Hubert Foy Kum for the year 2009 bearing the theme Space for Education was distributed to staffs and students and some were also posted in classroom buildings. Photographs of the event were also taken with the staffs and students of the visited institutions.
