A State level seminar on the topic of “Space Unites the World” was organised by the School of Science of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science. The program was inaugurated by the Principal & Secretary Dr K Karunakaran. The gathering was welcomed by Dr Hannah Revathy F, Dean, school of Science & Humanities. Scientific Lecture-I on “Black Holes” was delivered by Dr Satish Kumar Saravanan, Visiting Scientist, Max Plank Institute for Gravitational Physics, Germany. Scientific Lecture-II on “Indian space programmes for a better living“ was delivered by Dr V Rajasekar, Scientist/ Engineer SG, VSSC, Thiruvananthapuram. Nearly 400 participants from 13 colleges actively took part in the seminar. 50 students presented articles both in oral and poster mode on the topic of Indian Space Science and Technology and Space unites the World. Dr S.Deena, Vice principal, distributed the prizes for the winners during the valedictory session. The organising secretary Dr S Poonguzhali, proposed the vote of thanks.
