| Event Description: | The Twilight Program is an educational program intended to enrich the Star Party experience that takes place 1.5 hours before the Star Party. Two versions of the program are currently offered, depending on the time of year and the Moon phase: - “Modeling the Night Sky” features a live scale model of the solar system, using members of the audience to play the role of planets. - “Earth’s Companion: The Moon” uses interactive demonstrations, video, and high-resolution images to explore moon phases, eclipses, and lunar surface features. - |
