The event will simulate the possible missions of "astronauts" and it will combine programming, game design and elements of robotics with playful activities.
Participants will be grouped in teams and different scenarios will be used for each participating team, namely:
* Scenario #1 - Developers Team: "You've landed on Mars. Using Arduino boards connected to the laptop, the team will program a robot to measure the temperature and humidity of the planet."
* Scenario #2: Engineers Team: "Using the Arduino One board, the engineers team will design a rover that will try to avoid the obstacles encountered on the route."
* Scenario #3: Architects Team: "Using the available cardboard materials, architects will build a rocket and a rover."
* Scenario #4: Game Designers Team: "Using the available materials or dedicated software, the team will design and build a Monopoly like game called Astropoly or Computeropoly."
* Scenario #5: Artists Team: "Using 3D Doodler pens or similar, artists will produce the various objects necessary for life on Mars."
* Scenario #6: Programmers Team: "Using any programming environment, this team will create games inspired by Astronomy themes".
The workshop will also run a couple of presentations like: "Romanians and Space Exploration", "A 3D Journey through the Solar System","3D Printing and Space Missions","One Day in the Honeywell Space Camp"
