| Event Description: | October 2nd 2010 12pm-4pm Every year the Cradle of Aviation in collaboration with Amateur Observers Society participate in the UN-declared World Space Week by hosting a World Astronomy Day celebrating all things celestial! Over 50 nations host several events the first week of October to create awareness about the cosmos. Our 4th World Astronomy Day will be held on Saturday October 2nd between 12:00pm and 4:00pm. Among the activities are live Starlab presentations where you can explore the current night sky; fun free family make and take crafts, solar telescopes to observe sunspots and prominences, speakers and more! Come take part in the largest public space event on Earth! |
