Report on the Results:	Space walk conducted by University of Engineering & Technology, Peshawar on 7th October, 2010 after the closing ceremony. The purpose of space walk was to create awareness in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa regarding mission of World Space week, Commemorating Launch of Sputnik-1 the first artificial satellite into space, Demonstrating role engineers play in Upper Space Technology, control of carbon emission through use of environmental friendly space crafts and space elevators in future, celebrating launch of solar dynamics observatory (SDO) to make life of man better on earth, etc. The Dean, Faculty of Engineering UET Peshawar, Heads of Departments from all disciplines, Senior Faculty members, Lectures, Students from all engineering departments & CS-IT departments participated in the space walk. The walk started from Main entrance gate of engineering university towards Peshawar University Teachers Association Hall chalk, on road No. 2, and than back to UET Peshawar. The students were holding banners of World Space Week 2010, Posters of Launch of Sputnik 1, Space elevator, solar dynamic observatory, posters of Engineering disciplines etc. Geo and Sama TV channels were present during the walk for media coverage.
