After some very successful family days last year, the centre is opening its doors again to a number of lucky individuals. Whilst here, you will have the opportunity to explore all of our exciting exhibits, see our “Stories Amongst the Stars” Science show, and have the once in a lifetime opportunity to see the latest prototype of the ExoMars rover! Tickets are £5 per person (under 2s go free). We have two slots available, 10:00 arrival or 12:30 arrival. To book please visit And for the eager scientists among you, we will also be offering two extra activities at an additional cost. These activities are bookable at a later date: - “Mapping the Solar system” £2 per person – Create a linear map of our Solar System, demonstrating relative distances between the planets and the sun. - “Programme a Mini Mars Rover!” £4 per family – A great teamwork activity using both maths, and IT skills. Using Lego Mindstorms, families can learn to programme a mini Mars Rover to complete set challenges.
