| Report on the Results: | 1) Opening Ceremony: SUPARCO World Space Week 2019 event started with “Ribbon Cutting Ceremony”. To grace this event Vice Chairman KMA Education Board (Mr. Rafiq Gadit), Academic coordinator KMA Education Board (Mr. Atique Rosy) and Assistant Administrator KMA Education Board (Ms. Shazia Saleem) were invited as Chief Guests. 2) Tableau: An eye enthralling tableau performed by the students of grade 6th and 7th, showcasing their talent using the theme of Space Week “The Moon”. They received huge amount of appreciation by the audience on their performance. This event was held at KMA Hall. 3) Space Declamation Competition: To make youngsters familiar with the art of debating a declamation competition (English & Urdu) was arranged in KMA Hall. The panel of Judges decided the three positions for the certificates. Huge audiences as spectators were there to encourage the debaters. 4) Qirat Competition: The grand competition commenced by the arrival of the principals of different campuses of KMA Schools. Students showed their skills by reciting Quranic Verses. The program followed by the best three winners of the competition and they were awarded certificates by the guests. 5) Poster making Competition: Playing with colors is the most fascinating thing to do. The students transformed their creative and innovative ideas into poster making competition. Numerous students participated in this mega event. The Chief Guest Ms. Shakira (Lecturer at KMA Girls Degree College) inspired by the work of students and announced the top three positions. Certificates were distributed among position holders. 6) Space Spellathon: Groups of remarkable spellers mesmerized the audience by their great learning of spellings. Till the end it seemed like no one wanted to be in the runner-up’s team. The Spellathon Competition ended with announcement of the winner team. 7) Essay Writing Competition: To pen down one thought, expressions and feelings has always been a fun. The purpose of the competition was to encourage the students to enhance their thinking and writing skills. The essays (English & Urdu) were well written by the students and deserving top three categories awarded certificates. 8) Space Awareness Walk: Space Awareness Walk was one of spectacular worth watching walk. Students holding play cards went to KMA Girls Degree College and threw light on importance of moon and space. 9) Closing Ceremony: Closing ceremony was held in KMA Ground. There was a great PT Display by the students. They made “WSW”. In the end the group pictures were captured with the winners, Principal, Vice Principals & entire team of WSW event. ******************** |
