| Event Name: | International Observe the Moon Night (InOMN) 2019 Celebration |
| Event Description: | This October 5, appreciate the Moon with us on a night filled with music and spoken word poetry. In celebration of the International Observe the Moon Night (InOMN), UP Astronomical Society brings you again InOMN 2019! View the Moon through a telescope and listen to live performances of local bands and spoken word artists under the moonlight. The event will start at 6 pm and tickets are priced at Php 50* *Half of the proceeds earned from the event will go to the Reach for the Stars project, an IAU OAD supported project which aims to create an alternative resource material for teaching astronomy to visually impaired students. |

| Report on the Results: | We had a lower turnout this year as compared to our previous InOMN Celebration. One factor considered was our event were in between (in terms of location) three other InOMN events celebrating near the area and our location is a bit more tedious to access since ours were conducted on campus grounds while the said other programs were conducted on a more publicly accessible locations (i.e. Malls and Public Parks) Aside from the public turnout, we could consider the event to be a success as the skies were clear throughout our event time and the weather cooperated with us. We were able to view the Moon all throughout the event and no major problems were encountered with our simultaneous side events in our area. Side events includes live performances from local musical and spoken word artists, astronomy-themed booths and/or games, and the Moon Exhibit as homage to the 50th Year Celebration of the Moon Landing were all well received by the attendees of our event. The number of the media impression stated was based on the number of people reached by our first post main Facebook post in regards with our InOMN Celebration. |
