| Event Description: | Under clear skies, Sunspot observing will be conducted at Chestatee High Scool beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, 10/3 & Tuesday. 10/4. A class presentation will be made at Chestatee high school on Wednesday, 10/5, and telescope observations will be made beginning at 7:30 p.m. at CHS. Friday, 10/7 a class presentation on rocketry,will be made to 4th graders at Martin Science and Math Academy, followed bt a series of rocket launches. Saturday evening, 10/8, a Telescopes in the park event open to the public, will be held at the Sardis Creek park. |
