| Event Description: | Students in the 5th grade will study the Solar System Students in the 7th grade will begin their study of astronomy and the history of space flight. 7th grade students will sudy the physics of rocketry and design and build their own rockets in Earth Science class. Space Week activities will culminate with a celebration attended by the entire school and community wherein student laboratory groups will explain the science of rocketry, space travel, and launch their own constructed rockets. |
