| Event Name: | Design in Space for Life on Earth Design Challenge |
| Event Description: | In collaboration with The International Space Station National Laboratory, World Design Organization (WDO)® launched the Design in Space for Life on Earth Design Challenge. This virtual, two-week initiative brings together space industry leaders and design professionals to apply design thinking to space-based research with the goal of developing solutions for the betterment of life on Earth. Addressing three key challenge statements focusing on sustainability, education and the commercialization of space, a group of five teams, led by expert facilitators, are working to explore how industrial design can go beyond the limits of Earth to solve real problems facing our planet today. The Design in Space for Life on Earth Design Challenge runs from 28 September 2020 until 9 October 2020. |
