Tasks such as measuring the Earth's gravity, the height of mountains or the sea surface, are simple tasks for these satellites. Some of them today can see distant places in the universe and observe the stars and the sun. It constitutes 10 percent of all satellites. Television and communications About a quarter of the satellites are in the service of television and communications. 40 years ago the United States began its first satellite broadcasts, and Europe followed ten years later. Currently, more than half of television viewers depend on a rooftop dish to watch their favorite forces. Meanwhile, however, these satellites handle other tasks other than transmitting television broadcasts, such as telephone communications and the Internet. |
