| Event Name: | World Space Week Webinar Series |
| Event Description: | SOS Astronomy Club will organize a "World Space Week Webinar Series" on October 9 and 10 to celebrate World Space Week with the theme "Satelllites improve life". International and national guest speakers will be invited who will deliver lectures on various topics. On 9th October, Pratiwi Kusumawardani, a Flight Dynamics Engineer/ Orbit Analyst from Indonesia, will deliver a lecture on "Introduction to Spacecraft Dynamics and Career Prospects". On 10th October Dr. Krishna Prasad Bhandari, Director of Center for Space Science and Geomatics Studies at Pashchimanchal Campus, Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University, will deliver a lecture on "Why study geomatics engineering?". On the same day, Miss Simran Dhoju, an aerospace engineering major at the University of Alabama, will deliver a lecture on "Basics of Rocket Propulsion Systems". |
