| Report on the Results: | Employees from Astrium's Bremen site (40 people) delivered lectures in schools and kindergartens about space activities and their benefits. They used genereral presentation material provided by Astrium, and offered goodies to the audience. Around 1700 pupils are addressed. On 16th of October three school classes (ca. 72 pupils) visited the Bremen site and they received a presentation from Michael Menking, site director of Astrium in Bremen about the life on the ISS. After the presentations the pupils visited the Bremen site. Nine school classes (290 pupils) visited the Bremen site during the World Space Week as well. Further more there was a World Space Week exhibition in the Bremen townhall. |
