| Event Description: | The US Naval Institute and the US Naval Academy will co-host a conference on October 3, 2013 on the Yard of the Naval Academy inAnnapolis. Join us for a day with influential and experienced figures in human space flight to examine where we have been, where we are, and the course that will best shape future human space exploration. Hear pioneer astronauts from the dawn of the Space Age in the 1960's through Apollo, Space Shuttle and the International Space Station, like CAPT James A. Lovell, USN (Ret.), Commander of Apollo 13. Help welcome astronauts back to our planet from the most recent Expedition and enjoy live conversation with astronauts currently in space! We will be joined by the current NASA Administrator and visionary leaders from the commercial spaceflight industry that will help chart our future. |
