| Event Description: | Noosphere Art Rocket Park is a social and charitable event, whose goal is to unite talented Ukrainians and create new opportunities for them to unleash their potential while promoting space and rocket design in Ukraine. The initiatives consist of the installation of artistic rocket sculptures and a charity auction. Both activities begin on the first day of World Space Week, October 4, 2021. 23 rocket sculptures (1,5 m high) will be adorned by professional and amateur artists from all over Ukraine. All artists are winners of the rocket art competition, which was held in the spring of 2021. The panel of judges consisted of representatives from cultural institutions, the scientific community, City Council, and members of the architectural, engineering and design industries. The installation will be unveiled at the exhibition space of the Gagarin Park Botanical Garden in Dnipro. It will be free and available for everyone. Noosphere Art Rocket Park was initiated by non-governmental non-commercial organization ‘Association Noosphere’, whose mission is to create an ecosystem favorable for the development of engineering startups in Ukraine. |
