| Report on the Results: | The event was a great success as students participated physically in a variety of events related to space. With the main motive of celebrating the space achievements especially those of Women in Space, the students got an opportunity to participate in art competition, space debate, oratory competition, and space quiz competition. The efforts of students, teachers, and the entire school team in coming up with some great ways of celebrating space have really paid off. The event started off with a Space art exhibition where students were immersed in their world of creativity and prepared beautiful masterpieces of art. Followed by which were Space Oratory Competition and Space Debate competition in which the participants performed really well. The celebration ended with a thrilling inter-house quiz competition where students of different house groups participated in teams to get a win for their house. Overall, it was an amazing event by the team and a stepping step to promote space awareness and space dreams among young kids. Highlights: 1. Students of grades 6-10 participated physically despite their recently over examinations and ongoing vacations 2. Students tand few teachers themselves prepared for the events 3. The events were judged by the WSW Bagmati coordinator as well as other distinguished members of the school as jury 4. The event had hosted Ms. Manisha Dwa, the national coordinator for WSW as a chief guest 5. The students thoroughly enjoyed the event and learnt a lot on space and its technologies while preparing for it Media Coverage: The event was promoted well in social media pages like Facebook and Instagram. It was covered well before the event on NASO's Facebook page as well as Ikeda International School's own facebook page too After the event too, the photos were shared via NASO's page, which made impressive media impressions of as much as 9390 viewers. Overall: The event successfully concluded with the theme of promoting space awareness among young kids as a part of celebrating the World wide event of World Space Week and we're glad to be a part of it. |
