| Event Description: | Many women of different nationalities have worked in space. Valentina Tereshkova was a Soviet cosmonaut who was the first woman who managed to fly into space in 1963. Despite the slowness of the space programs in integrating them, they became participants in those programs from 1980 onwards. Notably, most of the women in space were US citizens; Mainly with missions on a space shuttle. There are three countries that maintain active space programs that include women: China, Russia, and the United States of America, in addition to a number of countries - such as: Canada, France, India, Iran, Japan, North Korea, and the United Kingdom - that have sent women into space In Russian or American missions. لقد عمل الكثير من النساء من مختلف الجنسيات في الفضاء كانت فالنتينا تريشكوفا رائدة فضاء سوفيتية هي أول امراه تمكنت من الطيران الى الفضاء وذلك عام 1963 وبالرغم من بطء برامج الفضاء إدماجهم أصبحن مشتركات في تلك البرامج منذ 1980 وما بعدها والجدير بالذكر ان معظم النساء في الفضاء كن مواطنات أمريكيات كن بشكل أساسي مع البعثات على مكوك فضاء هنالك ثلاثة دول تحافظ على برامجها الفضائية ألنشطة التي تشمل النساء وهم: الصين وروسيا والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية بالإضافة الى عدد من الدول مثل كندا وفرنسا والهند وايران واليابان وكوريا الشمالية والمملكة المتحدة قامو بارسال نساء الى الفضاء في بعثات روسية أو أمريكية |
