| Event Description: | #Erasmus+ 'Space Detectives' project - applying non-formal methods, in partner schools from Croatia, Greece, Italy, Portugal and Romania(School No 195 Bucharest)- participating teachers and students explored, discovered educational resources, experienced innovative practices, using astronomy as an educational tool, development and diplomacy - the key to effective communication. STEM competences are learning pathways for the 21st century curriculum. The project had an innovative way to approach new means to face global challenges (www.spacedetectives.eu), to implement space educational activities, attracting students to research, using digital skills for a more attractive way of teaching-learning, engaging students in educational activities which are challenging for their creativity.Students imagined they have discovered an alien. They have searched for a real planet, from another galaxy or from ours. They described this planet features and designed its alien, creating functions and personality according to the specific features of the planet on which it lived. Students gave their alien a name, described creatively its personality and parts of the body, writing which features made their alien special.
