Event Name:  Night Sky Recital - Bells under the Moon & Stars
Event Description:  A Celebration of World Space Week – Presented by the Jacobs School of Music and the Astronomy Department. Listen to space-themed pieces of art played by talented carillon students on the Arthur Metz Grand Carillon. 8-9:30pm. The IU Astronomy Department will provide telescopes for audience members to view the night sky during the concert. Images from the James Webb Space Telescope and Kirkwood Obervatory will be projected on a screen at the base of the Metz Carillon. (Rain date: October 8, 8-9:30pm).
