| Event Description: | During World Space Week, in 2023, librarian Marijana Kuna will be a guest at the class of extracurricular activities of the STEAM workshop, who will bring encyclopedias with the theme of space and a model of the solar system. Students will look for answers to the questions: What is the solar system? Who all belongs to the Sun family? How do astronauts live and work in space? What is weightlessness? How did the dinosaurs disappear? |

| Report on the Results: | Students studied encyclopedias and magazines to learn how astronauts live and work in space. With a mobile model of the solar system, they observed how the planets move around the sun and concluded how long it takes for the Earth to go around the sun. Together with the teacher Željka, they discussed the responsible attitude towards the Earth and the influence of people on events and changes in the universe. After that, they enjoyed reading the picture book "Visit from Space". They especially liked the micro-cinema and the animated film "Cow on the Moon" by Dušan Vukotić. |
