Event Name:  Hrvati lete u svemir! / Croatia is flying to space!
Event Description:  On Friday, October 6th, starting at 6 PM, you can join us to count down the days until the launch of the first Croatian satellite into space at the lecture with Daniela Jović, the mission leader of CroCube. For those with career ambitions and those who hope for a better future for Croatia, you will enjoy the second part of the program: "Space Entrepreneurship in Croatia," where Daniela will be joined by the author, journalist, and editor of Startup Report – Bernard Ivezić. Find out what's happening, what still needs to be done, and whether we have a proper guide for the journey into space in the discussion. When it comes to space and astronomy in Croatia, one person immediately comes to mind. The reason many have fallen in love with space, dreamed of stars, imagined themselves in astronaut costumes, and dreamed of planets – Ante Radonić, who will give a lecture on the latest research and space missions! During the break, you can stretch your legs and visit the space fair to meet the people who are building what you've heard about in the lectures. Notch, with its DevCademy, offers an opportunity for anyone interested in development and showcases the learning satellite – SchoolSat. They will be accompanied by Zagreb's Pulsar Labs, which has designed and built the first Croatian cubesat module, Astrotron 1000, and a company from Rijeka that is developing a mobile application for CroCube – Exevio. Of course, CroCube, the first Croatian satellite to fly into space, will have its place, where it will be displayed in parts. Geek Garden is a virtual reality studio with a mission to bring VR to all ages while having a great time. And this year, Geek Garden provides a virtual space attraction at the Space Week with two projections: Space Flight and Walking on Mars. CroCube and the companies will be accompanied by members of the Astronomical Society Beskraj, who will present their most loyal helpers for sky observation – telescopes, and the Croatian Radio Amateur Association with their radio equipment for satellite communication! The program lasts until 9 PM, so there are no excuses. Don't be an exception; come to TMNT on Friday!
