| Event Description: | The WSW2023 event was held at the 65th intermediate female school. The event was conducted during the period from October 4 through 10 in the morning time. It was attended by total 200 students under the theme “Space and Leading Business”. It was an excellent opportunity to inspire and stimulate interests in space and enrich the students and their families knowledge of space sciences and business in accordance to the kingdom’s 2030 vision. The school leveraged the World Space Week to: * Provide community outreach and education * Engage with our local community * Help raise the profile of space-related organisations and activities across our community * Have fun, and get our families |

| Report on the Results: | Through the materials delivered during the event in both English and Arabic by ten high performing students, it was very obvious through interaction and verbal dialogue that the level of awareness among students and families is very encouraging to hold similar events in future with expanding participation of community and other organisations, taking into consideration the kingdom’s 2030 vision that targeted to engage diverse community members in the space field with more focus on enabling female. Thought the kingdom’s international participation in 1985 NASA program has involved one of the royal family members (HRH prince Sultan bin Salman), the recent participation in 2023 has involved two citizens in which one of them was a female namely Rayyans Barnawi. A sample of the delivered materials will be uploaded to the WSW in Flicker shortly. However, due to rules and regulations of authorities, sharing female students photos with public for event inside the female schools require approval that could not be obtained in advance. |
