| Event Name: | Space seen through children's eyes - ideas for the future |
| Event Description: | The goal of our activity is to arouse students' curiosity and encourage them to think about the Universe as an infinite space that enables the future socio-economic growth and development of humanity. On October 9th, students will work independently, in pairs or in groups on art works with the theme of the Universe, they will make models according to their own choice. The more skilled one will use digital tools, make photos, videos, etc. On October 10th, students will continue to work on their works, which they will present to other students after completing it. They will create a billboard and a small exhibition of their works. |

| Report on the Results: | Space enthusiasts, about fifteen of them saw the journey to space in different ways. Using various art techniques (painting, drawing) and modeling, they depicted the Universe (mostly the closest to them is the Solar System), i.e. the destination where one travels. They showed how we could travel - spaceships, who we could meet (aliens as future neighbors), what we could build (colonies, settlements, platforms). We must not forget the fashion, because the students also created clothes with space patterns. A short video was made as well as a short association quiz. In addition to the digital presentation with student works, which is published on the school's website with the accompanying article (http://os-bijaci-kastelnovi.skole.hr/?news_hk=1&news_id=2415&mshow=1753#mod_news), students and visitors to the school can also see commemorative billboard with the theme of celebrating World Space Week. The goal was to emphasize that we must not forget that we should approach the Universe sustainably from the beginning. |
