Event Description:  The Conference is a meeting where not experienced people can be kept in touch with people having experience in the field of the ARISS contacts. It is a good time to learn more about the space, the ISS and HAM radio contacts between children and crew members on the board of the ISS. The ARISS offers an opportunity for students to experience the excitement of Amateur Radio by talking directly with crew members on the board the International Space Station. Teachers, parents and communities can see, first hand, how Amateur Radio and crew members on the ISS can energize youngsters' interest in science, technology and learning. The ARISS is an international educational outreach program partnering the participating space agencies, NASA, the Russian Space Agency, ESA, CNES, JAXA, and CSA, with the AMSAT and IARU organizations from participating countries.

Report on the Results:  The event was possible thanks to international cooperation and the ARISS organization (Amateur Radio of the International Space Station). A lot of teachers and other participants got information how to prepare in their own schools a contact with an astronaut, thanks to using HAM radio equipment, and cooperation with the ARISS and space agencies. EarthKAM gallery made by pupils of Complex School in Kolo(where the past WSW event took place) was available for participants of the conference and then for the public. Moreover, there was a lot of information for teachers about educational programs connected with education, astronomy, STEM.
