| Report on the Results: | Oct 4th -5th: -Announcing the beginning of the WSW and the chosen theme for the year 2023. - Morning assembly speeches to inform the students on how to participate. - Encouraging teachers to talk about space and connect it to their lessons through STEM strategies. - Distributing leaflets and handouts about space and Saudi space-related initiatives such as the Saudi Space Accelerator Program. Oct 8th-9th -Holding a workshop about entrepreneurship in space and how can we create business opportunities in space. -Brian storming ideas and discussing it with finance and science teachers. - Training Ss on how to use VR apps such as :Star Walker and SoIAR -Students producing videos, worksheets and drawings to present the ideas they came up with during the workshop. Oct 10th -Holding a Space Gallery Event that includes ;a display of drawings and students’ participations through out the week .Also we showed a documentary film about Saudia Arabia’s history in exploring space. Video includes professional telescope photos of the moon taken by one of our students. Students presented their business ideas about space for an open discussion with their peers and teachers. |
