| Report on the Results: | Ibrahim Halil YILDIZ coordinated Elazıg WSW aktivities. It was the first time, WSW activities have happened in Elazıg which is one of East Turkish city. Hazerfen Universe Exploring Spacecraft Model Contest bills have been posted all around the city. People have seen that kind of activity fort he first time. Anyway, Hazerfen Spacecraft picture contest created high interest and curiosity for students. All models and pictures were displayed. Over 9000 people have visited the display during 3 days. On the other hand, sky observations have been realized at a public gathering in the center of school. Over 300 people have attend the observation activities during 2 days. Visitors have had a chance to learn something about planets and to take photographs. Fort he Hazerfen Model contest 245 models have been competed. Successful 41 models have entitled for a prize and they have been displayed. Medals have been given students by Mayor and Governor of the city. Activities have been anounced in 342 schools. Local and National Media have covered the event with great interest, such as Gunısıgı Newspaper, Turan Newspaper,Yenicag Newspaper, Fırat Newspaper Nurhak Newspaper, Haber Newspaper and in their websites, activities have taken place. Moreover, in some Local tv channels, Channel 23, Channel E and Fırat TV and their websites, events have been broadcasted. WSW Elezıg activities have been known not only in Elazıg but also in MALATYA, TUNCELİ, ERZİNCAN, BİNGOL and DIYARBAKIR through the Local Media. Also, through the Radio GAP event |
