| Event Name: | Activating World Space Week 2023 at Al-Qahman primary and middle school |
| Event Description: | Al-Qahman Primary and Intermediate School, affiliated with the Hali , Education Office in the Qunfudhah Education Department implemented the (World Space Week 2023) program under the slogan Space and Entrepreneurship, under the supervision of the school director, A. Noura Al-Amri, and the activity leader, A. Shamsa Al-Qahmani, and the participation of school and local community members, with the aim of raising the level of education among female students in the field of specializations. Scientific research, learning about the greatness of the Creator, Glory be to Him, and arousing the students’ interest in science and technology. They were also urged to prepare astronomical research, as well as educating the students about the benefits they will obtain from learning about space. It was announced via the school radio and the school’s social media that the activities would begin on Monday, October 2, 2023, at seven in the morning. Space Week competitions were also announced, namely (the cultural competition and the competition for assembling parts of the picture to reach the slogan of World Space Week 2023, “Space and Entrepreneurship,” and the competition Drawing and coloring using modern technologies, as well as urging students to write scientific research, articles, design infographics, video clips, make models, prepare an electronic wall, scientific bulletins and brochures, on Wednesday and Thursday, October 4 and 5, at eight and nine in the morning. The leader of the activity, Ms. Shamsa Al-Qahmani, implemented a drawing and coloring workshop for a week. The space for the school’s female students on Sunday, October 8, at nine in the morning. The contributions of female students and all female employees were also published through the school’s accounts on Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook on Sunday, October 8, at ten in the morning. The art exhibition for the school’s female employees’ contributions was prepared on Monday, October 9, at nine in the morning. The radio group carried out a radio broadcast about World Space Week under the supervision of activity leader Shamsa Al-Qahmani, starting from Sunday to Tuesday, October 8, 9, and 10, which included visual presentations and video clips highlighting space, spaceflights, and the nation’s achievements in space science. The activity pioneer, Professor Shamsa Al-Qahmani, also carried out a workshop. To view outer space and the planets of the solar system using augmented reality and 3D technologies on Tuesday, October 10, at nine and ten in the morning, targeting school staff and parents. The school teachers held scientific seminars and lectures about World Space Week on Monday, October 9, at ten and nine o’clock in the morning during the classes.
