| Event Description: | Join us for a week of exciting space events for all ages at the library! Monday, Oct. 5 at 3:30pm - Make It! Planeisphere craft for kids in grades 1-5. Friday, Oct. 9 starting at 6:30pm - Mobile Planetarium visit from Texas Museum of Science & Technology. Four exciting educational shows for kids, teens, & adults. Seating is limited, so arrive early! Saturday, Oct. 10 at 2:00pm - Family film screening of "Home" (PG) Plus, space-themed library storytimes all week long, and interactive display "Discovering Exoplanets" in the library foyer! |

| Report on the Results: | The mobile planetarium visit from the Texas Museum of Science and Technology was the biggest event of our Space Week celebrations, bringing in a total of 110 people of all ages. Our space-themed storytimes and crafts were popular with our younger patrons. The interactive display "Discovering Exoplanets" currently on loan to our library received significant attention from patrons in the library foyer. World Space Week was deemed a big success for our library, and we plan to celebrate it again next year. |
