| Event Description: | The talk will review past spaceflight disasters, their causes and the lessons learnt from them. The talk will then go on to describe the current space flight safety risk management process, and the impact this has on system design and operation. The talk will conclude by identifying the space flight safety risk reduction challenges for the future. Time: 7:30pm. Entrance is £2 for BIS, Herschel Society and BRLSI Members, and full time students, and £4 for other visitors. |
